This campground is special with sites overlooking Williams Creek Reservoir. This is a neat little campground run by Denver Water that has designated campsites right on the reservoir. Williams Creek Reservoir is close to Teal Campground. The Tea Creek Campground is well maintained with clean vault toilets, trash bin, large gravel sites with easy access from the paved scenic highway. The William Creek camping ground is located a short walk from the William Creek Restaurant and Pub and offers powered and un-powered sites set amongst gum trees and is suitable for caravans, campervans, camper-trailers and tents. With no boat ramp but camping sites a short walk from the Lake under mature Ponderosa pines and featuring Kokanee salmon and trout, Williams Creek Lake is an excellent location to enjoy the beauty of the San Juan National Forest and catch dinner. Fishing near the campground is usually good in the late spring and fall, but only fair in summer. This is a gorgeous spot and a reasonably large reservoir.
